How do I recover my photos and videos from my Galaxy Note 3? They were in the V-stocks app to hide pics and videos.

Once you use this kind of applications to hide pics and remove the application that locked them, you will have a hard time recovering them since it's no longer possible. Additionally, if the photos were on the SDcard card, then you can plug the SDcard to the PC and read the files stored. You can use Total Commander to browse the contents of the SDcard.

You can try to recover them by following ways:

  1. You can get them back through Google Plus account if you have synced your photos to Google Plus.

  2. If you don't have synced them to google plus account, you can try to use some third-party softwares such as Android Data Recovery, which is designed for users like you to take lost or deleted stuffs back. It can help you recover all information from your device, including contacts, SMS, videos, pictures, etc, a total of more than 10 types of files.
