If the items were locked, then no, you can't recover them. You can't access the files unless you've performed backups, but even so, once the application is deleted, I highly doubt that the files will be recognized if you re-install it. The best thing to do is to actually, re-install the application and check if you can access the files. Deleting the application does not imply the automatic delete of the locked/unlocked content.
