I had installed my printer/scanner on my computer with Windows 7 & it was working. Just tried sending a file to a job application & it wouldn't load. Then I tried to scan another piece to my computer & that wouldn't work. So I uninstalled the program thinking I could re-install it again. But I can't get it to reinstall. I am not very good with computers either - just so you know.

To fix this error, first you need to completely remove the driver and associated software. To do this, go to Control Panel > Programs and Features> Uninstall a program and remove all HP associated software and drivers.

After this operation, run a copy of CCleaner and click on the Registry menu then clear the registry from obsolete entries.

Download the required drivers from the official website and install the package, then you will be able to use the printer.
