Cannot download IDM in Firefox due to the time out error.

I've been having problems downloading with IDM in Firefox due to the time out error since I installed it and tried to download. The Internet connection is great plus the server connection is good, also I tried other versions of IDM but it still didn't work. I really need help.

Time out errors appear because Firefox is not able to forward the request to IDM and the cookie expires. Install Flashgot and configure it to support Internet Download Manager, then download the program again. FlashGot automatically captures the download even if IDM has problems and it forces a download attempt.

Flashgot is a Firefox extension that can be installed from the Add-ons page.

I've been having problems downloading with IDM in Chrome it shows connection timed out restarting since I installed it and tried to download. The Internet connection is great plus the server connection is good, also I tried other versions of IDM but it still didn't work. I really need help.
