My phone has died and I have some pictures and videos stored in vault in the same phone and I don't intend to get the phone repaired. How can I get those pictures and videos? Are they going to be safe if I dispose off my cellphone? I don't know if my items are synced with a Google account. Please suggest how could I restore the items.
You can dispose the phone because the items will be secure, but there is no way to recover them if the phone died and does not turn on. Google sync only stores the contacts that can be accessed from the Gmail interface but that's it.
