I need to get into service menu.

Question

I need a way to get into the service menu for my LG 32LD450-ZA LCD TV, so I can play videos? As the USB media option on this TV only gives you music and pictures when USB is plugged in USB port. I have heard you can change this for this LCD TV so it can play videos DIVX etc. I have looked up for the service menu code on the Internet for this model but they don't seem to work. Is it possible for another way around it?

I have had the same problem with my TV, and the first thing I did was to update the software. Use the downloads on the official website to learn how to update the software. After this procedure, copy AVI or MKV files on your USB drive (FAT32 formated) and activate the USB function. The movies will appear in the menu that's opened after the input selection button is pressed.
