We have Windows 8.1 and have not been able to install the program from the disk we were sent. We get the message "Can't open Com1 at 9600Bd". We don't know why this is happening, can you help us?

To install the application, make sure that you also install the drivers associated with the product. Visit the official website and obtain the Windows 7 drivers, even if you use Windows 8.1. On a side note, it's also possible that the software and the drivers that you're about to install are compatible with the Windows 8.1.
