It seems that the application can run only on devices that have Android 2.2 or higher. Because of this, it's advised to perform an update of your device's OS. You can do this by going to Menu > Settings > About phone > Software Update > Update. You should have at least 80% of battery and a stable Internet connection while doing this. However, the application was tested and there wasn't any difficulties encountered while downloading / using data. Once you've upgraded your device's OS, go under Menu > Settings > Application > Manage Application > All tab, tap on Al-Quran and Clear Cache and Clear Data. In addition, it might be a good idea to update the application's version to the latest one.
