According to the User Manual of your device, you can't use the Micromax PhoneSuite to upgrade your phones's OS to a newer version. To perform an OS update, you need to connect your device to stable Internet connection, go to Menu > Settings > About > Software Update > Update. By doing this, your phone will automatically download the available updates compatible with your device. This seems to be the only way to update the OS.
