I cannot open Axxia Desktop and MS Outlook 2010 at the same time.

I cannot open Axxia Desktop and MS Outlook 2010 at the same time. Axxia Desktop doesn't launch when MS Outlook 2010 is open. I get the following error:

Desktop failed to log on to your mail server. Please contact the Network Administrator. Error code: -2147221219.

When I close Outlook, it launches successfully, but when I attempt to open Outlook while Axxia Desktop is open, Outlook fails and I receive another error: 

The file c:\users\%username%\AppData\local\Microsoft\Outlook\microsoftExchange.ost cannot be opened.

What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, launch Outlook and click the Options button from the File menu. Select the Trust Center tab and click Trust Center Settings. After that, select the Programmatic Access option and check the last box from the Security list. Click OK and try again. If it doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall Axxia Desktop and configure your security program and Windows Firewall to allow the program to communicate.
