The only way to enhance the GPS signal is by modifying the GPS.CONF file. You can do this with the help of FasterGPS. FasterGPS modifies your GPS.CONF file to add the correct NTP POOL server for your location. This increases the time it takes to acquire the signal when using only the satellites from your region.
Note: The phone needs to be rooted, since the GPS.CONF is on the system partition.
