No matter what settings I put into my Canon Scan Gear Toolbox CS, the photos come out with horizontal lines. How can I fix this problem?

It's possible that you might experience some hardware problems with your printer. Usually, this kind of behavior isn't caused by the program used to print. To fix it, visit the following support website from Canon, search for your printer and download the User Manual. By doing this, you will be able to follow the steps provided in order to check the printer's cartridges. Also, it's advised to use a high quality paper while printing photos. If you can't fix this issue, take your printer to a service for additional investigation.
