I use Linux CD Rescue on a USB pendrive so I can repair a damaged hard disk. Partition Editor told me that I have to use ntfsprogs to repair the file system in said disk, can I add it to my Linux rescue CD? How?

Thank you for your attention. Greetings from Argentina.

After you boot from your USB pendrive and load Linux CD Rescue you can use a command like apt-get install ntfsprogs to install the tools you need. It's much easier to temporary install it than to merge it into the current distribution. Make sure you have proper credentials for that command (sudo, root access).
