How to move the Dental Imaging software database?

I would like to format my computer but don't want to lose the database for the patients on the Dental Imaging software. How can I move it from the old OS to the new one without losing any data?

The application does not use the 3rd party database applications. This means that the database is stored in a plain database format.

First close the application and copy these files somewhere else on your hard drive, on a partition different than the one you want to format:

• Patients.cdx
• Patients.fpt
• Patients.dbf

Once you finish, back up the following folders using your saved copy

• TW folder
• Templates folder
• Library folder
• RVG folders
