I can't check for updates.

Question

I have HP Simplepass 2011 and when I try to check for updates it always says: Failed to connect with the update server, and when I try to update my profile it says: Registration could not been completed. Please check your Internet connection, then try again. I am always connected to the Internet. What do I have to do to fix this problem ?

This software may be blocked by Windows Firewall or by a third party program with Firewall like your antivirus. You can check if the Windows Firewall is not blocking the software by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Windows Firewall, click Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall, and be sure that this program is checked.
