I'm looking for a DVD/Blue-Ray player that would allow me to plug in an external hard drive. Can you help?

There are plenty of DVD/Blue-Ray players that support external hard drives. Personally, I suggest you try Philips HTS5580W, Philips BDP3406, or Samsung BD-H8500M. Also, you need to know that the external hard drive must be formatted to Fat32 or Fat16. You can use Google search engine to find other DVD/Blue-Ray players that supports external HDDs.

The first thing you’ll need to play Blu-ray is an external Blu-ray drive. There are several available including models from Buffalo, Samsung, LG, ASUS and Sony. Playing DVD is easier than Blu-ray for some Macs comes with dvd player and Super drive that can read DVD, but no Blu-ray player. Install a 3rd party Blu-ray player software to watch Blu-ray movie.
