HP MediaSmart DVD won't work with Blue-Ray discs.

How can I get HP MediaSmart DVD to work with Blue-Ray discs?

My HP Media Player stopped playing long time ago. This happened when I tried to play some DVDs, which I purchased from the open market. I would like to know if there are specific types of DVDs the Media Player cannot play. As a fact the DVD would start playing then it would suddenly refuse to respond to instructions,either to play, stop or even eject. My PC model is HP WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM PAVILION DV 9300.

In order to use Blu-Ray discs on HP MediaSmart DVD software, I recommend you update the utility to the latest version. Just save the file to your computer, launch the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. If you have problems, try applying the solution that you can find on HP forum.
