Do I have to choose a passwords in order to remove Port Locker?

My laptop was bought for me and came with Port Locker already installed. However, I have never made a password for it nor do I want a windows password to sign onto my computer. Do I need to go ahead and set up a passwords so I can uninstall it?

If you never set up a password for the Port Locker program, you can remove it simply by going to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs and Features (Windows 7) > select the application and hit Uninstall. If a password was chosen for the program, then you will need it in order to remove the program from your system.
