There shouldn't be a conflict between Minilink Service Manager and MSDE, but in order to remove the program from your PC, try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system and install Minilink Service Manager.
Alternatively, remove the MSDE software manually, following the instructions provided by Microsoft Support team.
