Java service is not developed to run on Mac OS. However, the developers regularly release updates for the Java service. If you encountered problems with one of the updates, these will probably were fixed in the following release. Also, on the Java RDP client website, it is stated that the product should be used only on Windows based computers. However, I suggest that you go to the Java official website, download the latest release, and install it. Your problems should be fixed.
