If the pattern lock wasn't removed even if the phone was already restored, then it means the restore process failed. Attempt a new recovery procedure, but this time, delete the cache as well. If you have a custom Recovery installed, go to Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache and the pattern lock should be removed when the phone is started.
