Do you have Microsoft Powerpoint? If so, use that.

You don't need an application in order to change the background color of your desktop. Windows already has this feature available for usage.

Right click on your desktop, then go to Properties or Personalize. Click on Desktop Background and choose Solid Colors from the drop-down menu. Press More.., select the color, and OK.
