Family Tree Journal compatibility with Windows 7.

I recently upgraded my PC and am using Windows 7. Since then I have not been able to make my Family Tree Journal program operate. When trying to open the program, it tells me to check my computer's system to see whether I need a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of the program. My list of programs includes 'Internet Explorer' and 'Internet Explorer (64 bit)'. Any suggestions?

The software isn't compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. You will need to install Windows XP to have maximum compatibility. For this process, you will need to install Windows using a virtual machine. You can use VirtualBOX as a virtualization product. Use the online guide to create a virtual machine where the software can be loaded properly.
