Can't HotSync the unit.

When I turn the handheld, I get only the opening stars that jump around on the screen. I recently changed the batteries. I cannot Hotsync the unit. What do I do?

To fix this issue, try to unplug the batteries and wait a few minutes, then insert the batteries back and wait for the device to load. Additionally, keep the power button for 20-30 seconds to properly reboot the device. This way you will remove any errors that may have been attached to the device. Connect the device to computer and go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and check if it's installed correctly. Additionally, re-install the drivers for this product.
