No to 64 bit. But if you are using Windows 7, install or activate the Virtual XP module. Once activated, install MC. It works well for my W7. You may find some problems with printing. If you do, let me know.

Good luck, Mike an MC user since 1991

No, the application is compatible only with 32-bit systems. In order to run it on your 64-bit computer, you can try the Compatibility Mode. Right click on the program icon and go to Properties > Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select a compatible operating system from the drop-down list. Click Apply and then OK. Also, if you're running Windows 7, you can install the application in Windows XP Mode environment.

My answer is not directly. Here is my experience. I have used MoneyCounts since 1988, when it was DOS. I upgraded to the Windows version when it became available in the mid-1990's, I believe. I ran it directly on my desktop through Windows XP. When I went to Windows 7, I was using Windows 7 Pro, so was able to run MCW through a Virtual XP installation. When I went to Windows 10, my IT guy was having trouble with the Virtual XP installation, so installed VMware and ran MCW through that virtual platform. Shame on me. I was terrible about back-ups, so when the operating system portion went bad on my drive and had to replace it, I had a problem. I was able to keep all of the regular data, but lost the operating system, including the VMware virtual machine and all of the data within it. I had an Aspire Netbook with Windows 7 Starter that would run MCW, so after updating 3 years of checkbook entries, I am now running MCW on that machine through my Desktop monitor from a wireless mouse & keyboard! It may not be capable of being updated, but it is still a great program. Can't find anything like it.
