How to recover data if day's file is overwritten with zero records?

You can't recover the data if it has been written with zeros. This is a common technique to leave no traces on a file once it has been written with zeros. The only thing you can do is to close the application, then use a recovery solution (eg. Recuva) to try recovering an older version of the software. There is no other procedure listed as being available.
