How do I check this?

I purchased a Dell computer and it was supposed to come with a subscription for 5 years of protection for McAfee. I got a message this week that my computer was not protected. How do I check to see if this was installed as promised?

You should try contacting the distributor which sold you the computer as soon as possible. They should be responsible for the software licenses. Also you should check the CDs that you received together with your computer to see if there isn't a disk with the license for your McAfee software.
