I use EasyCap to capture videos in DVD format, but the resulting MPG file is not properly playing: it starts normally, but after 2 minutes the sound will vanish and a little later video will play in fast forward. Capturing in VCD format will work normally. Capturing videos in DVD format isn't possible more than 10 - 12 min because the program will stop with an error. The computer has Intel Celeron M CPU 1.736 GHz and Windows Vista Home basic operation system. What's the problem?

Regarding capturing in DVD format, you should be aware that this format is very space consuming. The reason why the capturing process is stopping, might be that you don't have enough space on your hard drive to continue. Also, because capturing in VCD format is normal, it seems that there is no problem with the applicaiton. To fix this issue, go through the DVD capturing options again. You should make sure that you have at least 4 GB free space on your hard drive before starting recording in this video format. It may be a good idea to download the user manual from the following website and check for DVD recording options.
