Problems with PC sound system

Greetings.

I have Xion turntable and V10 MixMeister software loaded. I am experiencing conflict with PC sound system - it will record 3 or 4 tracks into iTunes and then get this excessive hiss. Need to stop recording and delete. I am using Windows XP Professional with desktop speakers connected to the PC's sound card. Where is the error/conflict?

Usually this happens due to a bad driver installation or because of the compatibility issues between drivers installed on your computer. Either way, you will need to check in Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device manager for entries with yellow marks. Please perform an update or a fresh installation of your sound card drivers.
