In order to solve the problem, press Alt + Ctrl + Delete key combination and close all communication programs using Task Manager. After that, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Modem list, right-click the Safaricom device and select Properties. Click Disable in this hardware profile, reboot your computer and go again to the Safaricom Properties window. Press the Enable option, click OK and close all windows.
