I can't sync my GPS Triton 1500 with the VantagePoint software.

When I try to sync my GPS Triton 1500 with the VantagePoint software, it tells me that "VantagePoint has stopped working" and "Windows is checking for a solution". I can zoom and measure distances, but I can't transfer data without this message showing up. It worked before. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, unplug the GPS Triton 1500 device from your PC, close the software and press Windows + Pause/Break key combination. Open Device Manager, locate the device, right-click on its icon and select Uninstall. After that, reboot the computer, connect the device using the USB cable and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. Wait for Windows to reinstall the drivers and update the VantagePoint program to the latest version.
