In order to solve your DVD problem, I suggest you run the Fix It utility developed by Microsoft. Click the Run Now button, save the file to your computer and launch the tool. It will diagnose and repair all your CD or DVD drive issues. If the problem is not solved, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the DVD/CD-Rom Drives list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your computer and Windows should automatically find and reinstall the drivers.
