Also, you can use a program specially designed for your webcam model. Usually, you can find it on the webcam developer web page. I personally recommend you use Free Webcam Capture. It is free of charge, simple to use and has a lot of useful features. Once you launch it, the application will automatically detect your webcam and you will only need to select an output format, the destination directory and to press Start Record.
