In order to fix the issue, try to run the Fix It utility provided by Microsoft. It is developed to diagnose and repair a large number of CD drive issues. If it doesn't help, right-click the Computer icon, click Manage and select Device Manager. Right-click on the driver from Disk drives section and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your PC and click the Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. Check Microsoft Support page for further solutions.
