Go to Start, type msconfig and open the System Configuration Utility. Press the Startup tab, un-check all Acer eLock related entries and restart your computer. Right-click on the computer icon, select Manage and press the Disk Management option. Right-click on your CD-Rom drive, select Change Drive Letter and Paths and assign a new vacant letter to the drive. After that, go to Control Panel and uninstall the utility using the Add or Remove Programs feature. If this doesn't work, try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.
