I have bought Dell Inspiron 5010 but my webcam is not working. Every time I try to turn it on there is a "Please plug in a supported device" message. What can I do?

You receive this error, because the drivers are not correctly installed or are not compatible with your system. In order to fix the issue, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound and open Device Manager. Expand the Imaging Devices list, right-click on the webcam driver and select Uninstall. Reboot your PC and Windows should automatically retrieve the drivers. If not, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. If this doesn't help, I suggest you upgrade the drivers to the latest version. Go to the official web page, select your operating system and download and install the latest webcam files.
