I am unable to configure this antivirus free version. It's showing general error, 0X0070643 and additional message: "Write configure value" after downloading & installing the free version of avg 2011.
The fix comes from the newest version of the application. According to the users' information who encountered the same issue, this can be fixed by downloading a new version of the software.
