Meter icon on the desktop toolbar has disappeared.

Recently, an acquaintance downloaded mozzilla foxfire. I uninstalled it and everything returned to normal EXCEPT my status meter on the desktop toolbar. How do I get it back without downloading the program again?

Depending on the version of Windows you are running,you can look in the software informer, and see if it is listed. uninstall the software using programs and Features in your control panel. Go back to the SI and reinstall the Status Meter software and all should be back to working order.
