When I turn on my computer, I have two Hughesnet status meters in the tray. The second one came about when I did an update. How do I get rid of the extra one?

The best way to remove one icon is to remove it from startup. To do this go to Start > Run > msconfig. Select Startup tab and then locate the application's process in the list as well as its path. Untick one and then reboot the computer. Next time the computer is rebooted, the application will start only once. Additionally go to Start > Run > services.msc and locate the application in the services list. Normally, two processes with the same name and path can't run in the same time. Stop one and leave the other one running.
