HughesNet update status meter.

Question

How do I get the Hughes.net update status meter off my desktop every time we turn the computer on? Already have to status meter in taskbar, it says to download update, when I click on it the screen goes blank and then ask me to save it then it says can not open because it can not connect to server? Getting tired of having to remove every time we boot up computer.

The latest version of the software is available through the link below. If you can't perform the update through the application, then access the link and download the package. Close the version on your computer, then initiate the installation. Go on with the procedure and the setup package will replace all the files and install the latest ones.

To configure it, go to Settings and make sure to disable automatic startup. This will also prevent the software from starting at all. You need to manually launch it every time you use the application.
