You will need the drivers before the camera can be used on your computer. When you purchased it, there was a manual and a support CD. Insert the CD into the CD/DVD-Rom and and follow the on-screen instructions. Plug the camera when you're prompted and let Windows install it normally. Once this process is finished, you might have to restart the computer for the process to fully complete.
