When I start chatting on Yahoo Messenger my Webcam Center shows: "Please plug in a supported device".

You encounter this issues because one camera cannot be used in multiple sessions. This means that you can use the data stream of the webcam in one application only. Close Yahoo Messenger then you can use it in Dell Webcam Center and vice versa.
