When I want to play a MIDI file on the web an error status appears on the VSC.
Virtual Sound Canvas is just a VST application that allows users to use MIDI instruments to create tracks. If you cannot open the MIDI file you have downloaded it's because it's encoded differently and the VST does not support it.
