When installing the driver through Windows XP and add hardware the system does not recognize up the scanner. What to do?

Download the required driver from the Internet and launch it. Follow the on-screen instructions then restart the computer. If the drive is still missing, go to Device Manager and manually install the driver. Use the Recommended installation method and it should work this way.
