uninstalling microsoft updates

asked by about Internet Explorer

I run XP service pack 3 and have several updates for sp 1 and sp 2. I'd like to free some space on my hard drive and consider getting rid of these byteconsuming monsters! Any views on this?

You have only updates for SP1... I would recommend don't uninstall them... If you want to, then format the entire system and install SP3 again... This answer was for your systems safety... There's another answer for this... Open SI Client and then in "Your Software" goto "Update for Microsoft .NET Framework SP1 (KB963707)" and right click on it... The last option will be "Uninstall Update for Microsoft .NET Framework SP1 (KB963707)"... Click on it and your problem is solved...
