How can I uninstall the old version of FreeVPN? I tried from Control Panel, but I received an error.

I think there are some problems in your registry... Use a good registry cleaning utility like Ace Utilities, REGSEEKER or some other utility... Clean your registry... A problem might have occurred during previous installation... So, if you have the setup now, reinstall it and then find your way out to uninstall it from the Control Panel... If it still doesn't work then after doing all this find it out in All Programs in the Start Menu and find out whether there's a link to uninstall it or find it out in program files... Using other uninstaller will not help because it will show you the same error... I have faced the same problem before with some other software...

You can also try out this... Might sound non-technical but it works... Go to Program Files and delete the folder where it is installed... Now use registry cleaners to cleanup all the unused registry entries... You can use C-Cleaner for this as it helped me a lot in this problem... I am sure you will get rid of this problem... Reply back after your problem is solved...

First, try to reinstall the software. This will fix all installation errors that might block the uninstallation process. In addition, try to run the uninstaller using Run as Administrator option. If you still cannot remove it using the uninstaller or Add or Remove Programs feature. I suggest you to try Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system.
