In order to fix the issue, you will need to reinstall the webcam drivers. For this purpose, go to your laptop developer's website, select your laptop model and operating system and download the latest drivers available. After that, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Imaging devices list, right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the installation package, select the downloaded drivers and install them following the provided instructions.
