The archive is saved in the (C:) > Program Files > Yahoo! > Messenger > Profiles > Your Yahoo ID > Archive > Messages directory as a .dat file. If you can't find it, try using a utility from Software Informer database in order to recover it. Many of them are free of charge and easy to install and use.
