I can open the webcam, take pictures and start a video recording, but when I stop the video it says: "The application is not responding". I need to close it through Task Manager. However, it saves the recorded video to my PC. I tried a compatibility test and the result was: "Incompatibility Application". Also, I tried to update the drivers, but all of them were up to date. I have an Acer Aspire 5738Z laptop. Can you help?

If you use Windows XP or below you can go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. In the Currently installed programs box, click on the Acer Crystal Eye program and then click Remove.
If you have Windows Vista or above you need to go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select the Acer Crystal Eye application and click on Uninstall.

After that, run a registry cleaner and navigate to Acer Drivers and Manuals. Carefully identify your laptop model, select your operating system and download and install the webcam software and drivers. Alternatively, you can use another webcam capture utility from Software Informer database.
