In order to fix the issue, uninstall the application using the uninstaller from the installation folder and go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager. Expand the Biometric devices list, right-click on the driver, select Uninstall and reboot your PC. After that, navigate to Acer Downloads page, identify your laptop model, select your operating system and download and install the Fingerprint driver and software. Next, launch the software and configure it using the video tutorial provided by Acer Support Team.
